Developing our school grounds...

We are very fortunate to have a large field area which includes a vegetable patch, a greenhouse and a wildflower meadow area. We also have an Environmental Area which includes a small pond. This area had sadly become quite overgrown. We had it cleared of much of the undergrowth and used all our fundraising from one academic year, to purchase new plants to put in this area. We were given donations of wood (Jewson), plants (many parents), seeds (Tesco) and even some railway sleepers (a parent)! One of our parents came up with an amazing design for the areas, and with huge thanks to Pearson's Nursery, we bought a whole variety of plants. On a Saturday in April 2024, many parents, children, staff and members of our local community, came to improve our school grounds.....they did an absolutely amazing job!

So......a huge huge thankyou to Craig, Rachael, Kate, James, Tim, David, Sue, Kevin, Martha, Gemma, heather, Daryl, Andrew, Ann-Marie, Sinead, Fiona, Richard, Jude, Lottie, Kira, Isaac, Noah, Matt, Joseph, Alison, Richard, Trevor, Nicole, Lily, Eleanor, Claire, Katie and Debra! You were all amazing!
